My wife and I had an amazing experience here. Every interaction with staff (on phone before visit, front desk throughout visit) was stellar, really really great people. Our room was unexpectedly huge and awesome, breakfast was exactly what we wanted. Just great overall, we will certainly return.

I stayed at Lighthouse Lodge during my visit of Monterey bay last November and I loved it! The staff were very nice and kind and the rooms are large and cosy! The hotel is located on a calm and quiet neighbourhood and has a great view over the surroundings. The breakfast is included and the heated pool ads a cool place to relax after a day of exploring the surroundings!

This is my favorite place to stay in California. You're 1 - 1.5 blocks from the shore with tide pools and beachy walking/ running trails with boardwalks full of birds, wildflowers and ocean life. The rooms on the cottage side are so comfortable with high ceilings, gas fire place and spacious bathrooms. The grounds are peaceful and include gas fireplaces on a patio with couches. I do recommend entering via the side entrance to avoid scraping the car if your room is to the back. The rooms across the street are clean and nice, too (not as nice, but more affordable). There's a pool and hot tub. The staff are responsive and welcoming. Tea and coffee are serviceable and there's a good coffee/ hot dog place about a two-minute walk up Lighthouse Ave. We tried staying in another place just for a change and wound up leaving after seeing the room. Luckily Lighthouse had a vacancy.

Such a great place. Very welcoming! Fire pits were lit at arrival. Room was spotless! Bed was comfortable!! The only bad thing was the driveway was really rough for low sitting compact car.

The best place in town can't be beat. Will never stay anywhere else. This staff puts up with so many bad behaviors with grumpy guests who most likely want free trips. Ignore any bad reviews. This is not only the coziest place but safe and the staff treats this place like their own. They make you feel like you are the most important guest. Absolutely love Lex and CJ and Diane and the whole Team. Our friendly helper also makes sure the rooms have everything you need as well and always is kind and courteous. Fifty stars 🌟

My husband and I love the cozy cottages they have. We have been coming here since 2021 for our anniversary. The area were its located is perfect for morning walks you see deer randomly walking around. And its walking distance to the beach. Very clean and very friendly staff. The only thing I can say is that they do not offer wine and snacks for night time cab as they did before the covid hit. We are staying here for our anniversary again in February. Can't wait, hopefully the weather is perfect as usual.

My room was better than expected for a 3-star hotel. The service was great and I greatly enjoyed the amenities like the heated pool and hot tub. Breakfast was a breakfast bag containing, in my opinion, a decently balanced meal. Service was great and had a wealth of information regarding dining experiences in the area.

I absolutely loved staying here! Everyone I spoke to was so professional and courteous and helpful. I love that they love dogs. My room was comfy and pretty. The location couldn’t be better, close to the coast and the entrance to 17-Mile Drive. Best of all, the rates were quite reasonable when I went in January.

We’ve stayed here 4 times in the last 4 years - it’s an excellent hotel for your stay if you are looking for something personable with a great location. The location is perfect - walking to the coast, short drive to pacific grove downtown. Quiet and peaceful - can often spot otters in the ocean on a morning walk. The staff are wonderful - kind, personable, and genuinely interested in guests. (Shout out to CJ!) The continental breakfast if you stay in the cottages is a nice option - although the coffee could be improved! The rooms have been slowly updated but you can still tell it has older hotel bones - for us, the location makes this totally worth it. Pet friendly too! On our last stay we forgot an important item - which they identified and coordinated with UPS to be shipped to us within 2 days!

Pleasant staff, nice rooms, great pool and hot tub. Location is close to so many things. Nice little bagged breakfast and good coffee.
