Beautiful views

We stayed at one of the rooms by the outdoor fireplaces and we enjoyed it very much! The room, as well as the bathroom, was spacious and modern. It was a comfortable and cozy space with a fireplace and a small balcony. Lex took care of us during check in and he was very professional and super helpful. Thank you!!

I can’t understand why this place has such low ratings. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Monterey/Carmel/Pacific grove area. We stayed for two nights in one of the cottages and it was the perfect location for our trip. Close to both Monterey and Carmel, and a short walk down to the water. The cottage room was very clean and large, with a nice fireplace. The staff in the lobby were friendly and check in was easy. And lastly the hot breakfast included with our stay was delicious and convenient. The staff in the dining room were extremely nice as well. I recommend ignoring the poor reviews and giving this hotel a try!! 10/10 experience

Beautiful cozy rooms!

Overall good but Breakfast can be improved

3 Day stay. We stayed in the new cabin with a wet bar so our space was fresh and clean. There is a whole set of cabins that have just been placed by the way -so the old comments complaining about old rooms were irrelevant to us only because we were booking for cabins.This area is pet friendly, the cabins have a private back yard and so much more space to go out on a walk with your pet. Our goal was to visit China cove which was near by this hotel area. There are also restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets just a mile away. It was quiet here, clean and just all around perfect with Utilities provided.

My family spent 2 nights here a few months ago and enjoyed it very much. Good-sized room for family with kids, with fireplace. The location is great, very close to the beautiful Pacific Grove trail, beach and lighthouse, and reasonable price. The room was generally clean; we didn't mind a little sand on the floor and 1 bug in the bathroom because this is near the beach. Staff was nice. Breakfast was some fruits, muffin and juice packaged in brown paper bags. We will consider returning if in town again.

5 stars! My partner and I stayed in room 307, a Cottage Junior Suite with a king sized bed, sleeper sofa, big HD TV, fireplace, jacuzzi bath tub and microwave/fridge/wet bar combo. The room was beautiful and clean! Little details like French doors to the bathroom, high ceilings, a huge bath tub, hardwood floors, etc made it even pretty! The lodge is very well kept and balanced outdoors with earthy elements. We loved the outdoor fire pits. Fresh Rosemary and a wooden tree swing were right outside our cottage entrance. The breakfast room was amazing with two fireplaces and set tables to choose from. My partner really enjoyed His cook to order breakfast. They also had a nice continental breakfast spread. The staff was super friendly and we felt welcome as a queer couple. The area is very close to the beach, lighthouse and 17 mile drive. I’ve stayed in Pacific Grove before and love it there but Lighthouse Lodge and Cottages is now my go to place to stay whenever I visit. I can’t wait to vacation here again and stay longer! We got a great deal on the Hopper app for President’s Day and for $200 a night this was a steal! Ps. I highly recommend El Cantaro vegan restaurant for delicious vegan Mexican food in Monterey, a quick 8 minute drive from the hotel. Be prepared to see lots of gorgeous deer chilling in Pacific Grove while you stay here! Alisomar Beach is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and very close to the hotel too! I’m so happy we found this fabulous lodge/getaway to escape to! See you again soon Lighthouse Lodge, thank you!

Came for Valentine’s Day Vacation and it was beautiful Close to the beach and included breakfast if you upgraded. Definitely worth it. Everyone was kind and helpful with my questions staff from check in to check out. Great views and parking was easy. It was the perfect romantic getaway cottage
