Whether you like sun fish or sea turtles, you'll find plenty of cool exhibits to keep you interested and entertained. Check out the abundant fish and sharks in the stunning giant kelp forest. See mysterious jellyfish and silvery schools of fast swimming tuna in the Outer Bay exhibit. Watch movies about the Monterey Bay or listen to informative docent talks. Meet octopus and cuttlefish in the Tentacles exhibit and visit with bright tropical fish and interesting animals in the brand new Viva Baja! Exhibit.

Yes, the Monterey Aquarium is home to two restaurants and a coffee bar. The Cafe offers family friendly casual dining with choices like fresh salads, burgers, handmade pizza, and tasty desserts. Cindy's Waterfront offers a relaxed dining experience with ocean views and a menu of inspired seasonal dishes and fresh seafood. With gourmet coffee, cold beverages, pastries, and snacks, the Coffee Bar is the perfect place for a pit stop. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own food and enjoy it outdoors in the designated picnic area.
