Mat Smart's 'The Agitators' uses just two actors to trace the years-long not-always-placid friendship between feminist icon Susan B. Anthony and civil-rights icon Frederick Douglass. Starring Patty Gallagher and Allen Gilmore, respectively, as Anthony and Douglass, the historical drama is the first of two productions in Santa Cruz Shakespeare's back-from-pandemic season of in-person live theater at the Grove at Delaveaga Park.
