Santa Cruz County veterinarian Dr. Merrianne Burtch and her BirchBark Foundation return virtually to celebrate the healing powers of pets and the joy and love that can bring. Personal stories and videos will recount the ups and down the foundation has faced, particularly in the past pandemic year. A silent auction starts July 24 as part of a fundraiser to save and care for animals.
